Most US schools that were closed during the pandemic have begun allowing students back to the classroom for at least some face-to-face learning.
But it is not happening fast enough for some parents, who say their children's physical and mental health is suffering.
They are taking government officials to court in New York, New Jersey and Los Angeles.
