As members of the public are dealing with hot weather conditions, some will also have to prepare for a reduced water supply.

Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonzales, tells of the impact the hot weather is having on our impounding reservoirs.

He says WASA's customers in East Trinidad will be affected.

He says apart from conserving water, we must also conserve electricity as the elevated use of air-conditioning to beat the heat is also impacting natural gas usage.
