here’s how i made these diy nightstands!
i took inspiration from the bluff nightstand from parachute and i utilized a tutorial from shara’s woodshop diaries. go check her out she ROCKS
i wanted to diy nightstands for our master bedroom in our new place. i wanted the vibe/aesthetic of them to be mid century modern and minimal and sleek. i also specifically wanted round edges and round corners. kinda oblong in a way.
i dont have a whole lot of experience with woodworking BUT that didnt stop me. i think a beginner could do this with just a bit of patience too.
total i spent for this project was a little over $300 but could be less if you already have some of these things in your workshop.
the plans are for two nightstands!
some things i used:
drill with a 1/4” wood drill bit thing
1/4” dowel pins
wood glue
Oribital Sander
220 and 60 grit sand paper
Circular Saw
Cutting Guide
Wood Filler Putty
putty knife
C Clamps
Spring clamps
Measuring Square
Masking/painters Tape
and Protective Gear
oh and a hammer/mallet
