Skoda Octavia Combi III (model year 2019) – Front Assist – false warning signal (30.09.2019) - Advanced warning in Front assist settings is set to Late in this situation.

You will hear false audible warning signal at 00:00:08s in this video.

This false signal happens repeatedly in the same curve and speed between 80-90 km/h.

Disturbing of driver is very annoying while he is driving through the curve.

In other speed false signal does not happen in this curve. Otherwise Front Assist works without problems.

This is a normal state of the technology and systems. IT IS NOT A FRONT ASSIST ERROR.

The road sign is in the car's track until the last moment, so the radar (front assist) evaluates it as a potential collision target.

Sometimes it helps to change the Front Assist settings in car infotainment.

Go to: Settings -- Driver assistance -- Advanced warning and change settings from Early to Medium or Late.
