Welcome to Taste Test Tuesdays episode 12! In this episode we visit Macellaio in vibrant Exmouth Market for a melt in your mouth steak 🥩 🤤

They call themselves “The Butcher’s Theatre” as the setting is a butchery with tables. After being hung for 6-8 weeks, your steak is then butchered and prepared in front of you 🪓🔪 👀

We ordered the Fiorentina Del Macellaio, medium rare of course, which is an 800g steak cut up into smaller bites all of different cuts.

It was really tasty and we scored them 8/10 ⭐

Their menu is full of meat dishes and Italian favourites. As well as their in-house butchery, they also have a traditional Ligurian bakery. So when you visit you can also expect fresh, handmade artisan pizza (pissa) 🍕
