The Druid Designs laser assist with dual diode depth guage is a popular air assist for users with adjustable z axis beds. This device assists in setting the correct focal position for best cutting and engraving.
The method adopts a triangulation method. Where overlaying the two spots occurs when the surface of the workpiece is 38mm (1 1/2 ") from the laser head.
