Budget travel doesn't mean that it has to skimp on the beauty nature has to offer. Some of the best experiences are are often those off the beaten path. I enjoyed walking around Nagarkot and filming when it seemed like a good spot.
This video starts with the sunrise view from Nagarkot View Tower at an elevation of around 2143.5m above sea level (based on the drone take off altitude). It was cloudy so even if you can't see the whole range of the Himalayas (or maybe the silhouette of Mt. Everest), the clouds give an ethereal feel to the scene. I later moved on to the Buddha Peace Park which was a nice 6.4km downhill walk through a small village.
