A somber mood engulfed a criminal court in Nairobi as the mother of slain journalist Sarah Wambui Kabiru gave an account of events that preceded her daughter's death in May 2011. Amid tears, Agnes Kabiru told the murder trial that her daughter had previously been threatened with death by her husband Dola Otieno who is the accused.
