An expert in international humanitarian law, Dr. Marco Sassoli was in Yerevan to participate in a panel discussion on the challenges of humanitarian access and to help launch the publication by the International Committee of the Red Cross, “How Does Law Protect in War.” Dr. Sassoli spoke with CivilNet about how international humanitarian law is applied in contemporary conflicts.
