Wage negotiations in the gold mining sector are set to begin in Johannesburg on Tuesday. The National Union of Mineworkers is demanding at least a 50 per cent pay increase for entry level employees. Rival union AMCU wants a 12-thousand-500- rand minimum wage for entry level workers.
