Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul remained perfect on the road this season as it fought off a stern challenge from LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne to win 73-77 and pull into a tie for first place. The Turkish side grabbed its third straight win away from home to improve to a 6-2 record. ASVEL has now lost four consecutive games for a 2-6 record.

Nigel Hayes-Davis scored 25 points with 7 rebounds, Marko Guduric had 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Bonzie Colson chipped in 10 points. The Fenerbahce win had a bitter aftertaste as star guard Wade Baldwin left the game just 3 minutes into the contest with a right hamstring strain and did not play the rest of the way. Nando De Colo looked like he turned back the clock as the 37-year scored 18 points and tied his career high with 11 assists. Shaq Harrison added 11 points in the loss.
