For Young Carers Action Day 2024, we wanted to tell the story of Ariel, a young carer (aged 12) from King's Lynn who cares for her mum, Christine.
After serving on the front line in the army for 14 years, Christine was later diagnosed with PTSD and agoraphobia. From the age of 6, Ariel has been caring for her mum and has had responsibilities usually taken on by someone well beyond her years.
