Control Weapon Mods and Personal Mods allow you to improve your character’s stats and her weapons’ stats. Our guide shows:

• How to get the best Weapon Form Mods and Personal Mods in Control, the video game.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Control Mods are divided into 5 Tiers: Common (I), Uncommon (II), Rare (III), Prime (IV), Absolute (V), the latter being the best.

You can get Mods from the enemies you kill, crates, or as rewards for completing Board Countermeasures; however, most of the time these are of inferior quality.

The best way to get Absolute mods (because those are the ones you are looking for) is by upgrading the Astral Constructs at any cleansed Control Point.

You can upgrade it 5 times, and each new level increases the overall Tier level of your mods by 1. This action requires materials which are sometimes tricky to get (check our playlist for their locations).

Your ultimate goal is to have Absolute Mods in every Personal Mod slot and in every Weapon Mod slots.

Personal Mod Slots unlock by spending Ability Points, and Weapon Mod Slots unlock by upgrading your weapons (see our playlist on how to do that).
