Calculating a Limit by Multiplying by a Conjugate.
In this video I compute a limit of an expression involving a square root in calculus by multiplying by a conjugate. This type of limit question is common in a calculus course so don't be shocked if you see something close to it!
Note that this limit is an indeterminate form of 0/0 if we substitute in the limiting value of x = 7. One could use L'Hospital's Rule in this example but often one has not seen that technique yet.
