We’ve all heard that our eyes are the windows to our soul. But, it may be more accurate to say that our eyes are the windows to our health.
In this passionate and poetic talk, Dr. Harbir Sian explains how undiagnosed systemic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and even brain tumours can be discovered within these one inch orbs inside our heads - and how regular eye exams can not only preserve your vision but possibly even save your life.
Dr. Harbir Sian is an award-winning optometrist whose passion lies in education and his profession. Harbir studied Kinesiology and attained his Bachelor of Applied Science degree at Simon Fraser University.
