Driving around some of the worst hoods in this Georgia town. Located right on the border with Alabama some sections of this historic town have seen better days. With a fast growing Hispanic population there are more workers than jobs. Many restaurants are barely holding on in vacant districts. While i met great people I did not personally like the town. It felt more depressing than fort Myers Florida or Fort Pierce.. We walked into and OUT right away of 3 Latin restaurants that were empty, smelly and only served buffet style meals that looked old and reheated. We did eat downtown where large buildings sat empty. No offence to the great people who call this place home but I did not like the town it felt depressing. And again, just my personal opinion.
