Delexis Andre Maloy, the man known as the Backseat Robber, was sentenced to 73 years in prison during sentencing Monday morning in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Moments after Maloy was handed down his sentence, the defendant verbally lashed out at Judge Gene Zmuda.

Maloy was found guilty in September of hiding in back of women's vehicles and either robbing them or forcing his victims to drive to ATMs to withdrawal money during a crime spree in March. On one occasion, he raped one of his victims.
