Welcome to our Whistler family vacation in winter! In January, we had an amazing time at Sun Dial Whistler hotel, staying in a 2-bedroom room with stunning views of the ski slopes and gondola.

To ensure a fantastic experience, we pre-booked ski lessons for ourselves and our 3 kids. The group lessons were perfect for beginners, and we were impressed by how well our kids did. Remember to book early with the hotel for discounted rates and convenient gear fittings the day before.

Our adventure began with gear fittings and a fun-filled ice skating session in Whistler village, followed by a mouthwatering dinner at the highly acclaimed restaurant, Araxi.

The next day was dedicated to full-day ski lessons, providing us with valuable skills on the slopes before enjoying a well-deserved dinner.

On the third day, we savored delectable crepes at our favorite crepes restaurant, indulged in sledding fun in Whistler village, and experienced the mesmerizing Vallea Lumina. Don't forget to secure your advanced reservations!

Day four was a special outing for me and Amalin as we took to the slopes on our own, confidently skiing down the easy trails we learned during our lessons. Later, we celebrated my birthday with a memorable dinner at the Fairmont.

Our fifth and final day involved another delightful crepe breakfast, playful moments at Whistler village, and bidding farewell to this incredible winter wonderland.
