This year once again hosted the Bluebell Railways's annual Giants of Steam gala featuring guest appearances from 8F 48624 (standing in for Oliver Cromwell) from the Great Central Railway and B12 8572 from the North Norfolk Railway.
Unfortunately in the afternoon 8572 failed with a cracked bolt on the cylinder cover causing it to leak steam badly, meaning it had to be dragged back to Sheffield Park by 73082.
