Today we make a little garden for the rabbits & Lenny, mix my homemade hamster food together, have some playtime with the cats (I also slip and die), give the rabbits some freshly baked dandelion roots and watch Lenny chow down on his veggies (super adorbs)
“Why don’t you share your hamster recipe?”
A couple of reasons!
-This mix is what works for my hamsters and I've adjusted already a couple of times to suit them better
-legal aspects, I do not want to deal with someone blaming me for a death or illness
-By just following someone else's recipe you won't learn how to calculate each ingredient in case you need to add something or switch out one thing for another, one ingredient added to a mix can change the entire nutritional value of the whole seed mix.
- and lastly, you won't gain the experience from learning to make your own hamster food if you just follow a recipe 😊
