This bus is owned by Abbotts of Leeming bus and coach company located in Leeming, Northallerton. This bus was bought brand new in early 2013 Along with YJ13HHS. These two solos are a bit different to your normal 4.25 litre Mercedes engine. And instead were both ordered with the 6.7 litre Cummins engine!!! with 201BHP. Read the news article at the bottom of the description to read about when Abbotts bought these Brand new. Abbotts seem to have a reputation for choosing Optare Solos with the Cummins engines, as before they bought these Solo SR vehicles they had two 59 plate Solos with the Cummins engine. They also still have two other Optare Solos with the Cummins engine these being WL06AOL and XL06AOL.

This journey was filmed on service X80 between Middlesbrough and Northallerton. The first seven minutes of this video was mostly sat in traffic, but after seven minutes is where the speed picks up. There is a thrash at 7:44 followed by a Kickdown at 8:50. There is also another thrash at 9:04, 10:38 and also 17:16 and also at 9:40 as this bus enters the dual carrigeway. This solo also seemed to have a worn out Diff which you can hear at 10:28, 17:02 and also 26:15. This route also went through some nice scenery which can be seen at 17:54. The driver of this vehicle drives this route regularly and said these Cummins solos are 'Mint' to drive. This solo is well used and was already on 342 thousand miles.
