In this episode, we check out the Kanata by TL Pedals Canada. Tim’s Kanata is a tweaked version of the Electra Distortion circuit that is comparable to the circuit used in the Lovepedal's Church of Tone and Josh Smith's custom favorite Tchula. This full-range booster boasts a bright, touch-sensitive tone that pairs nicely with your favorite guitar's natural tone. The Kanata is extremely interactive with your volume and tone knobs, without any input or output buffers. It includes a 3-way clipping switch used in many of the other TL Pedal designs affording 2 different clipping thresholds or bypass (center) for use as a clean boost.
