In this demo you are going to create a build and release pipeline in Azure DevOps. This will build the Aus-E-Mart sample app, then deploy it to a Virtual Machine.
Notes about following along:
- You can use the click-to-deploy button/instructions below to help setup a virtual machine ("deployment group") that can be used by Azure Pipelines (for deploying the web app)
- We will be using the repo that was created earlier containing the app
- You can use the free Pipeline agent if Microsoft has provided you one, or a self-hosted agent (see earlier demo) instead
- You can delete all of the resources we've created throughout this course if you no longer wish to use them (be careful not to leave any VMs running)
Setup your Environment:
- Login to your own Azure subscription
- Use the Deploy to Azure link below
- - Click the link if you are logged in to Azure on this browser, OR
- - Copy and paste the link into the browser where you are logged in to Azure
- Fill in the blank parameters (you may modify the default values if you like)
