A Special Recipe with Healthy Keerai :-Ponnanganni Keerai Kootu Recipe in Tamil/பொன்னாங்கண்ணி கீரை கூட்டு/ Seemai Ponnanganni Keerai Kootu Recipe/Ponnanganni Keerai Kootu in Tamil
Ingredients:
Seemai Ponnanganni Keerai - 1 Kattu
Onion - 1 Big size
Tomato - 2 nos Small
Green chilli - 2 nos
Toor dhal - 1/4 cup
Moong dhal - 3/4 cup
Oil - 3 spn
Salt as required
Turmeric powder - 1/2 spn
Hing - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 spn
Mustard - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 5-6 flakes
Procedure:
Step 1: Soak the toor dhal and moong dhal for 1/2 an hour and pressure it for 3 whistles with that add turmeric powder and hing.
Step 2: Pour oil in a pan add mustard, jeera and urad dhal and then add onion, green chilli, Garlic and tomato and saute well for untill soft .
Step 3: With that cooked dhal add 1 spn red chilli powder and required salt and mix well without lumps and then add the seasonings of onion tomato.
Step 4: Now cut the Keerai into small pieces and add that into dhal and mix well.
Step 5: Cook for 5-6 min in medium flame.
Now Healthy Seemai Ponnanganni Keerai Kootu Recipe is ready to serve.
