Personalizing Microsoft weather & news pop-up on Windows 10
When you select or hover on the weather icon in your taskbar, you will open news and interests. From here you will see content covering the news, weather, traffic and more. Content will update throughout the day and keep you up to date. You can customise news and interest according to your convenience.
Recently this weather and news widget showed up on the taskbar and you are not able to figure out how to remove it. It's not hidden when you select do not show Cortana. It seems to be a Microsoft driven add-on because the bottom says "Microsoft News" and it opens msn on any link you click. It auto-expands when you hover over it and it's blocking important widget space like battery. Feels like it behaves more like a virus than a Microsoft add-on but you are quite sure your system's clean.
