Join us for another delicious episode of Cucina del Sul where we try out 3 different versions of authentic Spanish paella and a table spread of Tapas that will make you dream of your next vacation.

This episode, we are also joined by Chef Mariano Andres, an icon of Spanish cuisine in the UAE. Mariano prepares his signature Spanish Tapas for our guests and entertains us with the apple cider drinks received directly from Asturias, his home in the North of Spain.

Our featured chefs for the evening:
1. Chef Pillar from @pillarspantry makes her popular Fideau paella, using noodles and then delights our guests with a traditional spanish dessert called Torrija. Bread soaked in sweetened milk and finished off with a crispy sugar outer layer. Move over Umm Ali and Pain Perdue !

2. Ignacio: This gentleman, although not a chef by practice or background, but he has won the 1st Prize of Paella making by the Spanish Embassy in South Africa ! And we now have the privilege of trying his food in Dubai at Cucina. Simple ingredients , tons of flavor and a craftsman's touch.

3. Sultan: Most you foodies would know him better as the founder of Tanosat8, one of , if not THE best supper club experience in Dubai. Sultan and his lovely wife Kinda curate a Spanish paella and dessert that prompts our Spanish guests to lobby for granting that honorary citizenship.

Our guests for the evening also include representatives from the Spanish expat community in the UAE, and the Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Spain.
