Here's one of the more affordable (and still reliable) options for flex nib writing you can find. The Leonardo Momento Zero fountain pen is usually offered in an "elastic" nib size option that has cut-outs on the nib's wings. Made by Jowo in Germany, these elastic nibs are now regularly offered on Leonardo, Esterbrook, Edison, and other pen brands that use Jowo nibs.
