This will be the 4th edition to the paint along. The portrait is still not finished at this stage. Since this is the second layer of oil paint, you can certainly begin to paint along with me. Remember, earlier I thought that I could complete this painting wet-on-wet, but things don't always go to plan. This is a good thing. It's always great to change things up a bit. Oh yes, the studio has a new look too.

Winsor & Newton- Burnt Umber
Gamblin- Alizarin Crimson Permanent
Winsor & Newton- Cadmium Red Medium

Oderless mineral spirits (only used for clean up at the end)
Medium: Neo Megilp Medium
Canvas: 11x14" Cotton Canvas toned with oil paint several weeks prior to filming. I suggest toning your canvas with burnt umber oil paint (thinned out with a tiny bit of odorless mineral spirits) and allowing it to dry over a few days
