In this video, Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC) Research Fellow Dr Sarah Jasim explains how she is linking local authorities and policymakers to social care research, and how this leads to evidence-informed decisions. This includes the co-production of a recent project with Newham and Redbridge councils on how ethnicity and cultural background influences access and the use of social care services.
Through her role, Sarah supports CPEC’s partnership in the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North Thames, as a member of the ARC-NT’s Research Partnership Team. Sarah is also a Policy Fellow for the London Research and Policy Partnership (LRaPP), embedded within the Strategy Team of the City Intelligence Unit at the Greater London Authority.
