Clare graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Earth Sciences in 2013, staying on to then undertake a PhD in Geology. Her research used geochemistry to tease apart the history of rocks from deep below the surface, like a forensic scientist of the Earth.
Clare is now Communications Manager at the Royal Institute of Navigation in London, a charity aimed at furthering the development of navigation on land and sea, in the air and in space. If you can’t find Clare at work, your best bet is to look for her on a hockey pitch.
