If there is one franchise that truly has been through a rollercoaster ride for the cast, it is the Transformers. We begin with Megan Fox’s short-lived role as Mikaela Banes, which she was unable to continue in Transformers: Dark of The Moon, despite being one of the main protagonists and the love interest of Sam Witwicky. Speaking of Sam, this character was played by the very talented Shia LaBeouf, who walked away from the Franchise and didn’t reprise his role in the fourth movie, Transformers: Age of Extinction, along with his new love interest, Carly Spencer, played by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Fox, LaBeouf and Huntington-Whiteley had different reasons for not moving forward with the Transformers franchise, but their absence was often felt. Furthermore, Michael Bay eventually lost the passion he had for these films, too. So, what really happened? Where did it all go wrong?
