I show a live Lipogems Regenerative Medicine procedure for the treatment of painful arthritic joints. Adipose (fat) tissue and its surrounding capillaries contain regenerative cells called Pericytes. These cells can be activated with the Lipogems micro fragmentation device. Pericyte cells convert into adult mesenchymal stem cells which secrete anti-inflammatory factors (reduce pain) and will secondly activate connective tissue cells which heal damaged tissue.
