Strayder House -- General Stonewall Jackson used the house as his head quarters for a short while. The house is now the Chamber of Commerce for the town of New Market, VA. There are many artifacts and pictures. One new thing I learned is that the Union forces later on after the Battle of New Market sacked and burned Virginia Military Institute. The young men pf VMI were the ones who helped the Confederates win the Battle of New Market
