During Covid 19 Lockdown as the East Lancashire Railway prepares to re open , "shakedown" trains were operated to ready staff and volunteers for the big re open , here we are on board a DMU during the first day of Shakedown Saturday 26=07=2020 , we depart Bury Bolton Street Station for Heywood and traverse the "Ski Jump" that is the bridge over the Metrolink Bury Manchester Tram line at Bury, the line we are on is proposed to have a Metro Link Battery powered service line opened parallel to the ELR line to Heywood and Rochdale
