With rain falling an average of 300 days a year at Cradle Mountain you can expect to see the lushest forest surroundings Tasmania has to offer. Having the beautiful Dove lake positioned at the base of the summit, here lies a photographers dream!
What this also means is wet, windy and cloud-covered peaks but DON'T let that stop you from making the climb! As you can see this is a daring ascent and one purely for those seeking a challenge. Just don't expect that Instagram worthy shot at the end... we sure as well didn't get it.
