The Kerala Sahithya Academy's 61th Anniversary and award giving away functions were held at the Academy compound on 10th and 11th of February 2018. At the evening of 11th, there were a winners sangamam and their speech about their work and experience. The award winning book about the heritage music and dance of Kerala was given to Fr. E.P.Joseph Valiyaveettil who spoke about the efforts taken by them for the creation of a historical literary research work.
