Dura Slip Elastic Lubricant is a silicone based liquid that helps your elastic run smoothly through your top sections. Simply apply to elastic at the start of the session; a thin layer will adhere to the elastic leading to super smooth performance all day.
Des Shipp has been working on this product for several months: “I absolutely hate having my elastic sticking out on my pole and not running smoothly. I’ve spent a long time getting the Dura Slip Elastic Lubricant right and I’m over the moon with the results. It’s fantastic, it helps your elastic work properly and I believe it makes your elastic last longer.
Whenever I’m fishing with elastic I just squirt a few sprays of the lubricant in the middle of the top kit and it lasts me for a full match, and even longer! It’s an item of tackle I wouldn’t be without now, well worth trying if you’re having trouble with your elastics not working properly”
I've been working on Dura Slip Elastic Lubricant for probably eight or nine months now, to get this product exactly right.
And believe me, it's absolutely brilliant, it's brilliant on my Hollos, it's fantastic on my Slip Elastics. You know, when you're fishing, the last thing you wanna be doing is worrying about the elastic sticking. You don't need much, you've got a big bottle there.
Three or four pumps down one section, that's all you need to do, it'll last you forever, and this actually puts a coating on the elastic, it's brilliant on Hollos and normal slip elastics. In most of the matches I fish now, I spray it once and it lasts all match, and it will protect your elastic.
It puts a coating on the elastic, and it also doesn't leave a resin inside the pole, so you can go out the following weekend, you literally put the elastic back in the water, and sometimes you don't even need to use it again.
But if it starts to sort of stick a little bit, spray a couple of times and it's back perfect. So I'm just gonna put that back together. You can give it a little flick like that, you can see it come out the end, and that's all you need to do.
It looks blue, there's no toxins in it, it's not gonna harm the fish, it protects your elastic, it will make your elastic last a lot longer.
