Al Ghurair Centre is the first shopping mall in Dubai. It opened its doors for visitors back in 1981, when the concept of a mall was still fairly new. In 2014, it underwent a major refurbishment drive and many new features were added to the mall. An important part of Dubai’s history. the mall remains attractive to those living in and around the old Dubai neighbourhoods of Deira, Bur Dubai and Al Qusais.
