The deeper you find yourself in a poker tournament the more you should be looking to use controlled aggression. There will be many players that really do not want to go broke and these are the ones you should be targeting!

When choosing hands to 3-bet preflop with, you want to use hands that contain good blockers to your opponent’s strongest holdings. This will put a lot of pressure on the tight opponent’s that will fold too frequently to aggression.
