(21 Jun 2016) Romanians in the southern city of Caracal are anxious about the prospect of Britain leaving the European Union after Thursday's referendum.
Many residents have travelled to the UK to work under freedom of movement available since Romania joined the EU in 2007.
Cars with British registration plates are parked on the streets of the poor town of 32,000.
43-year-old Florin recently returned from the UK to his hometown, but hopes he'll perform well during a job interview next week.
He wants to go back to the UK to work as a chef.
Florin has worked in the UK since the early 2000s; in London as a cook and in Bristol as a delivery driver for Amazon.
He doesn't believe the UK would stop Romanians from coming to work.
At the outskirts of the city, people are enjoying a fair being held for the religious celebration of Whitsuntide (Pentecost).
Forty-one-year-old Stelica Ciocan is here selling toys and balloons.
His cousins work in construction in Britain, and he wants the UK to remain in the EU.
Ciocan, who drives a car with British plates, acknowledged it could be more difficult for Romanians to enter Britain if it votes to leave the EU.
He was convinced, however, that his countrymen would continue to travel to the UK for work.
