This slideshow covers the 3 week build of my bench rest heavy gun that was christened Big Dog. The caliber is 6 Dasher, barrel is a 7.5twist Krieger, action is a Tikka 590 modified to dual port, trigger Bix & Andy. As you can see the stock was made from 3"x2" aluminium using a relatively small manual mill.
