Sanitation is on the top of everyone's mind these days and Manitowoc Ice offers a sanitation device that can either be purchased with the machine or an add-on kit after the time of purchase. The kit can be purchased for both Indigo NXT and Neo ice machine. Once the device is installed, air begins being passed through a filament bulb to create active air. This active air is pumped into the food zone to help keep the ice and the machine clean for a longer period of time. LuminIce II controls the growth of viruses, bacteria, yeast, and mold within the food zone.
