New Delhi, Aug 19 (ANI): Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa on August 19 said that the Sikh community living in Kabul are fearful and afraid although Taliban leaders who visited Gurudwara assured them security and safety.“There are almost 320 people. Out of them, 50 belong to Hindu family and the rest are Sikhs. We have raised a chartered flight to evacuate them from Afghanistan but the situation got worsened. After the President left the country, airports are shut. Around 40 people living in different parts of Kabul will be picked up and transferred to Gurudwara. Taliban leaders visited Gurudwara, assured security, but our people are fearful and afraid. They have no choice. They want to migrate to India” said SAD leader Manjinder Singh. (SA)
