Each product placed on the EU market needs to have a Product information File (PIF) prepared. Product information file contains various information, documents and tests related to the cosmetic product, such as product formula, raw material specifications, finished product specifications, stability and compatibility test, challenge test, packaging specifications, GMP, method of manufacturing chart, labels and cosmetic product safety assessment.
