In a post-apocalyptic time, the undead wander the streets of Elgin looking for their next victim. The City of Elgin Zombie Defense Initiative has setup a Safe Zone for approximately 20,000 residents to find safe-haven. While some undead continue to linger, residents can find food, alcohol and entertainment alike as they live out their numbered days.

NOCS shuts down much of Downtown Elgin, with 4 stages of live performances (with Linkin Park cover band In the End highlighting the Main Stage), dozens of food and alcohol vendors, immersive experiences and of course lots of zombies. This year, the event was bigger and better than ever.
