The protagonist of the game is known as Rook. The game starts around 9:52 Dragon, 9-10 years after Dragon Age: Inquisition and Trespasser. Solas has begun his ritual to tear down the Veil, causing demons to slip into the world. Members of the Inquisition, having recruited a new ally that Solas would never see coming, attempt to stop him before he can finish his ritual.
