So a seller tries his hardest to scam me out of my money but ends up getting screwed in the end.
Alright, so this is what this guy was attempting to do.
The Wii U, Gamecube, Pokemon Gameboy and Wii U Gamepad were all defective before shipping. He figured that he could send me the items and then claim that it was damaged by USPS. Then he would send me a "payment" as a refund and collect the insurance money on the package saying it was damaged during shipping.
After he does all that, he would reverse the payment he sent me as a refund claiming it was an unauthorized charge and get back the $230 he sent me which would double his money.
Too bad for him, he most likely does not have all the required information for an insurance claim since the only picture he got from me was a broken Gamepad screen which could have been taken off of Google or some other website.
Anyways guys, make sure when you buy something on eBay to always think of the worst case scenario and never trust people on eBay.
