Kalyaneshwari temple (Bengali: কল্যাণেশ্বরী মন্দির) at Kalyaneshwari in Asansol of Paschim Bardhaman district in the Indian state of West Bengal is located on the banks of Barakar River, about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) downstream from Maithon Dam of Damodar Valley Corporation. The Barakar River forms the West Bengal-Jharkhand border. It is about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) from Barakar on Grand Trunk Road and about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) off the more recently constructed NH 2 By-Pass.
