You need to have a Xbox Wireless Controller, a PC Wireless (Gaming) Receiver and the CD with Software but don't worry about the Software you can also download it directly from Microsoft here:

if you're already running windows8 or 8.1 like me download the software for windows7 64bit or 32bit and install it
also working with third party Accessories (like this on my Video)
after installing the software, go to the Control Panel, click on hardware and sound then open the device manager
now you see there the yellow triangle click the right side on ur mouse and update the drivers, now its very important that you search on computer, click again searching on your computer. now choose the latest one which is the Xbox 360 Peripheral and click next, you must take this one here: Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows Version: 2.1.0.1349 [08.13.2009] and click next ignore that fucking popup shit click yes on it and enjoy gaming on your pc with xbox360 wireless controller
This method works as well with latest Windows 10 build(s)
