Not just on Twitter, Bollywood celebrities took to the streets of Mumbai to raise their voice against the JNU attack that took place on Sunday night. A masked mob entered the campus of the university and thrashed students and teachers. The RSS's student wing, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), is being widely blamed for the attack.
Celebrities like Zoya Akhtar, Vishal Bhardwaj, Taapsee Pannu, Anubhav Sinha, Dia Mirza, Rahul Bose and many more joined the protest, condemning the Sunday attack.
Videos and pictures from the Mumbai protest are going viral on social media. Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Saurabh Shukla, Sudhir Mishra and Swanand Kirkare also participated in the protest.
